This is a nice post to remind me of families separated by the miles this holiday season. I'll visit all the links, thanks. Also, I like your new 3 column look! Merry, merry Christmas to you and your family. Vienne

Vienne,

Thanks, I like the three columns too, expect I've noticed that on some computers it gets scattered due to the width of the screen. I don't like that. The third column gets pushed to the bottom.

It is very important that we remember our servicemen at this time of year. Actually, we should remember everyday what they are going through and the danger they are in.

Happy Holidays,
Lisa

Hi Lisa, nice post yet sad. I have read and studied a lot World War 1 and 2, more on the side what has happend to the people. I know right now it may be a different war, however, still the same and brings lot of suffering, especially to the kids. I wish that no one ever had to go through all that what people, soliders go through during the war time.

Aside, as this can be sad, lets look at the bright side - the Christmas season. Not sure if you celebrate Christmas, but I will wish you anyway, the fact is that it is all about connections and being with family and friends. So I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best in a New Year 2008. Anna :) BTW all your comments and conversations are always appreciated, and hopefully your book will be successful. Good luck!

Anna,
I think you are right..war is the same..time after time. I pray for a day when this is no longer the way we solve our conficts and no longer an option in our minds to inflict injury on others.

I do celebrate Christmas. Merry Christmas to you, too. I appreciate your friendship and hope that you enjoy this time with your loved ones..:)

best wishes,
Lisa

Great post. I pray the wars ends soon. It's hard to think about it, let alone live it.

Hugs, JJ

JJ,

It is difficult to think about. For families with loved ones in Iraq, it's hard to think about anything else.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Here's wishes great things for you in the new year.

Hugs,
Lisa
